Opaque Amber Necklace
This vintage amber necklace demonstrates classic jewellery design, characterised by the alternating arrangement of gold metal beads and opaque golden amber beads that progressively increase in size to produce a graduated effect. Each bead is precisely strung, and the necklace is completed with a lobster claw clasp.
Amber, a fossilised tree resin, has long been valued for its protective and healing properties. It has served as an amulet to guard against evil spirits, negative energy, and misfortune.
