What’s in a name?

In amongst my readings, I came across a vivid description of propagating hallucinogenic mushrooms in the corpses of shamans and holy figures to facilitate communication with the dead. Earl Lee describes this Cults of the Dead practise in his book, From the Bodies of the Gods, and it reminded me that we nurture our practise in the spirits of our forebears. Ancestors such as my grandmother, Gypsy Rose, with her knowledge of the occult and skills in tasseomancy, a woman who I am indebted to as the matriarch of my own abilities. This is the lady I honour with the red of our bloodlines and the name of this community, Gypsy Red Corpse – Artefacts for the Witching Hour.
