Chiastolite Crystal ‘Rough’
$9.95Chiastolite is a unique variety of the mineral andalusite, famously known as the "Cross Stone". It is distinguished by its natural, black, cross-shaped inclusions made of graphite, which form a geometric pattern visible when the stone is sliced. Historically, chiastolite served as a protective amulet and, in the 16th century, gained reverence as a religious symbol thanks to its natural cruciform pattern. In contemporary Wiccan practices, chiastolite functions as a stone for protection, grounding, and balance. In spells for major life changes or at "crossroads," practitioners rely on chiastolite to foster clarity, resolve conflict, and dispel fear of the unknown. Measuring between 1.5-to-2cm in diameter by 1-to-1.5cm deep and sold individually, these naturally formed chiastolite crystals, when set at the altar's centre, are said to repel negativity, foster stability, and radiate harmony throughout the home.
