Amber & Jet Earrings ~ 02
$110.00
These stunning earrings are handcrafted from genuine sterling silver, natural honey amber, and Whitby Jet beads. Each pair is unique; none are the same, and the hypoallergenic sterling silver hooks make them ideal for sensitive ears.
The design draws inspiration from the early 20th-century Wiccan high priestess ritual jewellery, where the combination of amber and jet symbolised the balance of solar and lunar, light and dark, and masculine and feminine polarities. Historically, amber was worn for protection against negative forces and, in contemporary Wiccan practices, is believed to ward off negative energy, evil spirits, and misfortune. Jet was also regarded as protective and held sacred status in the worship of the Goddess Cybele, the Great Mother. In modern Wicca, jet is used for protection, shielding against psychic attacks, and warding off the evil eye.
By uniting these two ancient stones, these earrings become more than adornment—they’re a wearable amulet believed to provide balanced protection, helping to shield the wearer against negative energies, misfortune, evil spirits, and psychic attacks.
