Lucky Grouse Foot Brooch ‘Deer Antlers’

$29.95

Originating from Scottish folklore, the lucky grouse foot brooch is believed to bring good fortune. Popularised during the Victorian and Edwardian periods, these talismans were traditionally worn to promote success in hunting and serve as symbols of good luck.

In a contemporary context, the lucky grouse foot brooch has transitioned from a functional hunting talisman into a highly collectable piece of vintage fashion and macabre art. Contemporary folk magick and occult enthusiasts often view the brooch as a powerful protective amulet, for its sharp, claw-like appearance is seen as a way to scratch away bad luck, ill will, or negative spirits.

This vintage brooch features a preserved grouse foot, and an amber-coloured gemstone, possibly Citrine, set within a deer’s head and antlers motif. Measuring 7.5cm in length, 3cm in width, and 2cm in depth, it features a C-clasp enclosure and a safety chain, both in excellent working condition. Only one is available.
