Dragonfly & Vintage Brooch Shadow Box
$75.00
This handmade black shadow box presents a sepia-toned background with three lit candles on a triple candelabra. The asymmetrical arrangement centres on a dragonfly, accompanied by two smaller charms—a dragonfly and a bird in flight—and an authentic vintage daisy leaf brooch set with mauve diamantes. The pentagram, rooted in traditional lore, provides elemental protection. The dragonfly motif serves as the focal point, symbolising transformation, adaptability, and the unveiling of illusions. The bird in flight represents freedom, perspective, and spiritual communication. The vintage daisy and leaf brooch evoke growth and purity, while the mauve diamantes suggest heightened intuition and psychic awareness, creating a thoughtfully layered cabinet of curiosities. The box measures 18.5cm on each side and is 3.8cm deep, making it a unique piece for any ritual space.

Lucky Grouse Foot Brooch ‘Deer Antlers’

Popularised during the Victorian and Edwardian periods, these talismans were traditionally worn to promote success in hunting and serve as symbols of good luck. In a contemporary context, the lucky grouse foot brooch has transitioned from a functional hunting talisman into a highly collectable piece of vintage fashion and macabre art. Contemporary folk magick and occult enthusiasts often view the brooch as a powerful protective amulet, for its sharp, claw-like appearance is seen as a way to scratch away bad luck, ill will, or negative spirits. This vintage brooch features a preserved grouse foot, and an amber-coloured gemstone, possibly Citrine, set within a deer’s head and antlers motif. Wild Hare’s Foot Talisman ‘A’
$29.95Historical records show the hare’s foot was a popular lucky charm and medicinal talisman long before the rabbit’s foot became a commercial object. Folklore blends pagan traditions, early medical beliefs, and supernatural protection rituals across cultures. In Europe, the hare’s paw was used for protection against evil and illness, venerated as a sacred messenger for its speed and nocturnal habits. The Celts believed hares, living underground, were supernatural creatures tied to the Otherworld. Inspired by this heritage, we present our hare’s foot talisman collection. These hare’s foot talismans have been carefully handcrafted during a waning moon cycle, setting them apart from ordinary charms. Each features a vintage brass fitting, adorned with a chain and a pentacle charm. This collection showcases the front paw, noted as ‘A’ in the photograph of the group of three paws. Sold individually, each measures between 7 and 8cm, with an additional 7.5cm in the chain and pentacle charm. It is the smallest in the collection. For sizes B and C, please see their individual listings.
