Aset, more commonly known as Isis, is one of the most significant and enduring goddesses of Ancient Egypt, often depicted in a sheath dress, with large, protective wings, sometimes in the form of a kite bird. Originally a secondary figure in the Old Kingdom, she eventually rose to become the "Queen of the Universe" and a universal deity. Known as Great of Magick,’ she was believed to possess powers greater than those of all other gods and was frequently invoked to heal the sick and protect children.  In contemporary culture, Aset is viewed as an archetypal mother figure, representing unconditional love, healing, and protection.
