Owl Feather & Pentagram Shadow Box
$75.00
This handmade black shadow box features a sepia-toned skull-and-ivy backdrop with a machine-sewn pentagram, blending vintage and contemporary design. The asymmetrical layout includes a vintage filigree owl charm with a red-and-white beaded breast and a string of three dainty bones. To the right, an authentic vintage earring anchors three real owl feathers and a key beneath it. Rich in traditional folklore, the skulls and ivy ground the frame in memento mori, balanced by the pentagram’s elemental protection. The owl charm and feathers invite nocturnal wisdom, keen sight, and a connection to ancestral spirits. The beaded breast centres vitality and clarity. The three dainty bones honour the sacred triad of the Triple Deity and the spirit’s physical vehicle. Finally, the earring and key serve to hear hidden truths and unlock threshold mysteries within traditional craft practice.

Lucky Grouse Foot Brooch

Popularised during the Victorian and Edwardian periods, these talismans were traditionally worn to promote success in hunting and serve as symbols of good luck. In a contemporary context, the lucky grouse foot brooch has transitioned from a functional hunting talisman into a highly collectable piece of vintage fashion and macabre art. Contemporary folk magick and occult enthusiasts often view the brooch as a powerful protective amulet, for its sharp, claw-like appearance is seen as a way to scratch away bad luck, ill will, or negative spirits. This vintage brooch features a preserved grouse foot and a silver ball ring on its middle toe. Measuring 7.5cm in length, 3cm in width, and 2cm in depth, it appears to be silver, and the C-clasp enclosure is in excellent working condition. Only one is available. Wild Hare’s Ear Talismans
$49.95Historically, hare ears have served as sensory tools for navigating the boundaries between the physical and spiritual realms. Within magickal traditions and folklore, hare ears are regarded as talismans that enhance intuition, facilitate perception of the unseen, and provide spiritual protection. In Celtic and Irish folklore, hares are considered liminal beings capable of traversing multiple worlds. Due to their exceptional hearing and panoramic vision, hares are associated with heightened perceptual abilities. Practitioners use these talismans to discern subtle messages, anticipate potential threats, and navigate uncertain spiritual paths safely. These hare’s ear talismans have been carefully handcrafted during a waning moon cycle, setting them apart from ordinary charms. Sold individually and measuring 13cm long, 3cm wide, and 2cm in depth, each features a vintage brass fitting and chain, complemented by a pentacle charm, resulting in a unique artefact. Please choose carefully from the selection options for either the right or left ear, and only one of each is available. Here at Gypsy Red Corpse – Artefacts for the Witching Hour, we take great pride in offering ethically sourced and sustainable materials to supplement your ritual practice. We do not, in any way, support or condone the trade of poached or endangered animals or cruelty to animals. All bones are ethically sourced – death is by natural causes or a by-product of road-kill.

Porcupine Quills
$4.95 – $12.95Price range: $4.95 through $12.95Porcupine quills are valued in ritual practice for their symbolic qualities of protection and defense. As the porcupine's natural shield, quills represent the ability to establish strong boundaries and ward off negative energies. Their inclusion in mojo bags or spell jars serves as a symbolic barrier against psychic attacks or harmful influences. Because the quill points are sharp, practitioners are reminded to exercise caution, reinforcing the theme of mindful self-protection. Practitioners may position quills near doorways or windows to deter unwanted spirits or negative influences from entering a space. Quills are occasionally bound into a cross shape to serve as protective talismans. Their sharp and sturdy points make them suitable as styluses for inscribing symbols and intentions into candle wax during candle magic. Cleaned quills can also serve as pens for writing spells, petitions, or protective scripts, particularly when used with ritual inks such as Dragon's Blood. Sold individually, or as a group of three, and measuring between 10cm and 12cm, these porcupine quills may also serve as symbolic guardians, representing strength through gentleness. Their use can remind practitioners that vulnerability and openness are compatible with possessing the means for self-defence. Specifications Description: Porcupine Quills Material: Natural Porcupine Quills Measurements: between 10cm and 12cm PLEASE NOTE: Due to the raw nature of the quills, edges may be sharp; caution is recommended when handling. Natural variations in each are natural, and all measurements are approximate. PRICE GUIDE ONE Porcupine Quill $4.95 THREE Porcupine Quills $12.95
